Boulder, CO - January 10, 2008
If you visited Spyder's Venom booth at last year's SIA, you stood on an award-winning design. Event Design Magazine, the preeminent trade publication for creators of events, exhibits, and physical environments, awarded the Venom booth with Gold for Best Trade Show Environment (Under 50 x 50).
The eco-friendly booth, designed and built by Spyder's Visual Manager Brady Collings in partnership with Premier Displays and Exhibits, featured environmentally-sound materials such as harvested bamboo floors and walls, recyclable acrylic and aluminum fixtures, powder coated paint, low emission Greenguard certified Nevamar brand laminates, Green Seal approved low off-gassing adhesives, and energy efficient LED deck lighting.
The booth's aesthetic impact included an open architectural design. Slatted walls and multiple levels allowed for visual contact between the upper DJ booth/bar/lounge deck to the ground level sales area, reception desk and surrounding aisles. Like a beacon for the weary, a 22-foot illuminated tower included a red top panel that, when lit, indicated the bar was serving drinks.
If you missed the Venom booth at last year's show, be sure to experience this year's rendition at SIA 2008 in location E10.
