Aspen Spora
My name is Aspen. I'm half Austrian half American. I started skiing at 2 years old, My birthday is Nov. 21, 2000. I grew up skiing in northern Michigan. I spent the summers living in Austria, Germany and Michigan. I raced for 3 years for the Northern Michigan Ski Academy. At 6 years old I went to the Nastar nationals. I got 4th place in the platinum division. At age 7 I switched to freestyle and started doing the USASA events. I switched to freestyle because I liked it since I was 4 years old. Freestyle has so much stuff to do like Pipe, slope style and back country. Probably the biggest accomplishment in my career is being able to represent Spyder and 4frnt.. One of my goals of the season is to learn a flatspin. My favorite part about skiing is doing tricks. I live in CA and I ski at Northstar. I moved here last season on Christmas day. I like traveling and skiing as much as I can. This summer I went on a month long vacation to Hood, Whistler, France and Austria. My favorite place to ski is Breckenridge and Keystone. For the past 2 years I went to Copper Mountain for the USASA nationals and I go to Breck and Keystone while I'm there. This spring I got to go to the Dumont Cup for winning the Oakley rider search. The prize was to go to the World Superpipe Championships with VIP tickets but unfortunately it got cancelled so I got to go to the Dumont Cup. It was sweet. My biggest highlight was jumping over Jossi Wellls at the Dumont Cup. I enjoy Facebook so look me up I'm under Aspen Spora.
